🎬✨ An Unforgettable Journey at SIFFCY! ✨🎬 Swipe left to dive into a world where creativity meets cinema at its finest. πŸ“½οΈβ€οΈ Yesterday, 11th April 2024, we, the passionate tribe of IIPians, had the honor of diving into the vibrant world of films at the Smile Film Festival for Children and Youth (SIFFCY), held at the iconic @phdcci Khel Gaon, New Delhi. 🌟🎞️ Our hearts are brimming with pride and joy as we reflect on the incredible opportunity to contribute to and promote the essence of good cinema. From the flickering of the projector to the magic unfolding on screen, every moment was a reminder of the powerful stories that connect us all. πŸŽ₯πŸ’« The highlight? Conducting a film-making workshop specifically designed for the brilliant teen students from various schools. Witnessing their enthusiasm, creativity, and potential was truly inspirational. πŸŒˆπŸ“Ή We believe in the transformative power of cinema and its ability to illuminate minds and hearts. Proud to be a part of this cinematic journey, we extend our heartfelt thanks to SIFFCY for allowing us to share our passion and knowledge with the future storytellers of our world. πŸŒπŸ“– Here’s to more such inspiring events and to spreading the love for good cinema far and wide! πŸš€πŸ’– #siffcy #filmfestival #childrenfilms #inauguration #photographyschool #photogram #IIPians #SIFFCY2024 #NewDelhi #FilmMakingWorkshop #TeenCreativity #CinemaForYouth #StorytellersOfTomorrow #iipacademy #indianinstituteofphotography
"Lady from The Mountains" by IIPian Priyanshu Shekhar The Apatani tribe lives in a beautiful place called Ziro Valley in Arunachal Pradesh, a North Eastern State of India. They have some special traditions that make them unique. One interesting thing is that they used to have tattoos on their faces and nose plugs for women to protect them. They grow rice and millet for food and have a special way of watering their crops. The Apatani people follow a system where the family is passed down through the mother's side, and women have an important say in making decisions.
