"Lady from The Mountains" by IIPian Priyanshu Shekhar The Apatani tribe lives in a beautiful place called Ziro Valley in Arunachal Pradesh, a North Eastern State of India. They have some special traditions that make them unique. One interesting thing is that they used to have tattoos on their faces and nose plugs for women to protect them. They grow rice and millet for food and have a special way of watering their crops. The Apatani people follow a system where the family is passed down through the mother's side, and women have an important say in making decisions. “Photography can’t be taught in classrooms, it is the end product of an adventurous mind”. During our ART PRACTICE AND PHOTOGRAPHY LEARNING PROGRAM, to study light n shadow, lines, shapes, textures, patterns, reflections, forms and composition you have to follow 3H formula… Head, Heart and Hand. Synchronisation between these three H can bring great results. Here are few behind the scenes taken while our students were out there with their mentor Argha Ganguly at Chitranjan Park, New Delhi. . #artpractice #scribbling #iipians #visualart #worklife #outdoortraining #art #learningphotography #visualart #indianinstituteofphotography #iipacademy #creativeart #elementsofart
