“Behind The Door…” In my childhood I used to listen these stories which contains a spirit or soul of child who used to roam here and there in house. After listening these stories I feel horrified, I feel like they are with me… I thought of making a photo series on this subject. … Gaurav Dubariya, when he was in BFA 1st year in 2016. . @gauravdubariya #ghost #spirit #soul #hallucination #fear #phobia #project #photoshoot #photography #theworldisyours #iip #indianinstituteofphotography #iipians #theworldisyours #iipedu #iipacademy #theatre #staging #throwback
Artist in Disguise, a conceptual photography series by Joel Jacob of BFA IInd year. . @j.j.21 Artist: @banithapar In spite of fear and pity, we are the happy living beings, not as individuals, but as one living being, with whose creative joy we are united. Through Art and in life we witness the power of the emotions, the transformative power of “the intoxications of passion”. Such passion can be either constructive or destructive and therefore needs to be supported by rationality. In this way the fusion creating an artist and a lover of life. - Nietzsche #abstract #artists #artblogger #conceptart #noir #aestheticvideo #minimalist #aesthetic #portraitphotographer #portrait #animationart #portraitphotoshoot #artwork #india #feed #explore #painteveryday #photography #conceptualphotography #thephotographyinstitute #iipians #indianinstituteofphotography #iip #theworldisyours #lifeatiip
#loneliness #selfportrait “Covid 19 pandemic has led to a drastic loss of human life and values. A Covid patient is overwhelmed by waves of difficult emotions : aches, pains, headache, tired, worthless and helpless even to breathe.... They undergo a feeling of loneliness, fear of others and negative self esteem. Their mood shifts from fear and worry to profound sadness, despair, grief, shock or the feely that you will never be able to cope. A sense of isolation, feeling cut off from every one even from friends and loved ones. We, the people need to change, and give a helping hand to these Covid patients from their emptiness of feeling irritable, frustrated and restless. Then only we can eradicate this ......deadly virus .....” - IIPian Abhilash . #portraitphotography #selfcare #covid2020 #portraiture #pain #loneliness #covidphotodiaries #conceptualphotography #alonestatus #visualart #iip #iipians #blackandwhitephotography #blackandwhite #covid #lifeatiip #lockdown2021 #iipacademy #theworldisyours #indianinstituteofphotography

Pakko Gujarati - Gujarati villager in traditional turban. This portrait was taken by IIPian Ashok Kumar during IIP’s All India Bike Ride organised from Delhi to Kanyakumari in 2017. The man approached Ashok while he was drinking sugarcane juice on the road side in deep rural area, he asked him to accompany him to take photographs of his goats, his rural appearance with a long stick and billhook and the location fears him. His amazing smile somehow made him comfortable and made him taken beautiful smiling portrait. #portraiture #gujarat #iamatraveler #travelstoke #travelblogger #mypixeldiary #creativeimagemagazine #somewheremagazine #storiesofindia #travelphotography #photographers_of_india #indiapictures #indianphotography #iip #iipians #iipalumni #lifeatiip #theworldisyours #iipacademy #indianinstituteofphotography #thephotographyinstitute

Dear IIPians The photographer, Ms. Natsuko Tominaga, has traveled extensively with Mr. Yohei Sasakawa, WHO Goodwill Ambassador for Leprosy and Chairman, The Nippon Foundation, Japan, accompanying him to meet persons affected by leprosy in remote corners of the world, including India. The photographs from her travels bring out the story of the lives of those affected in a poignant way. He is showing his work as a photo exhibition from April 20 to May 1, 2018 at Art Gallery, Kamladevi Complex India International Centre, Max Muller Marg, New Delhi. A thought-provoking photo- exhibition on the lives of persons affected by leprosy from India and other countries. Leprosy, which is a curable disease, still evokes fear and stigma. The photographs bring home the irrationality of this stigma against people who are no different from any of us and speak out, more loudly than words, against the discrimination that is meted out to them. Please must visit this exhibition and learn ,how he created this project. also share pictures and your experience with us. With warm wishes, IIP Academy
