With an illustrious career spanning over 33 years in art education, creative practice, teacher training, curriculum development, and academic leadership, Mrs. Goyal brings a distinguished blend of artistic expertise, industry experience, innovative pedagogy, and visionary leadership. A Fine Arts graduate in Applied Arts from the College of Art, New Delhi, and a postgraduate in Painting, she has dedicated her professional journey to nurturing creative talent and advancing the standards of visual arts education. She has served as Head of Faculty - Fine Arts and is a CBSE Resource Person, CCRT Teacher Trainer, Certified IGCSE curriculum Facilitator, International Baccalaureate curriculum (IB) Facilitator, and Certified London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, London (LAMDA) Trainer. Her extensive experience includes leading faculty development programmes, workshops, art residencies, international exchange programmes (China, Italy, London, Dubai, Srilanka, Serbia, Malta) in association with various Embassies in India and national-level art initiatives. In her new role, she will provide strategic academic leadership to the Faculty of Fine Arts, strengthening curriculum innovation, academic excellence, industry relevance, international exposure, and contemporary creative practices while nurturing the next generation of artists, educators, designers, and creative professionals. We are pleased to welcome Kartikaya Mohan Nagar to the IIP Academy, Noida. Kartikaya joins us as a photography educator and visual practitioner with more than a decade of experience across documentary photography, analogue and film processes, visual storytelling, commercial photography and creative direction. His approach is rooted in craft, observation and the discipline of understanding an image before making it. Formally trained in Creative Photography at the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication, New Delhi, his practice has remained deeply connected with documentary narratives, analogue photography, darkroom processes and human-centred storytelling. As the founder of Gotama and previously Monksin Happiness LLP, Kartikaya brings extensive professional experience in photography, films, employer and brand storytelling, along with the experience of building and mentoring creative teams. At the Faculty of Fine Arts, we believe students must learn not only how to operate a camera, but how to observe, question, interpret and tell meaningful stories through images. The coming together of practitioners, educators and creative thinkers such as Kartikaya strengthens our larger vision of building an institution where traditional photographic craft meets contemporary visual practice, research and industry exposure. 200 Years of Photography. A New Chapter Begins at Bareilly. 📸 On World Photography Day, we proudly inaugurated the IIP Academy × Bareilly International University Faculty of Fine Arts - a new space for photography, fine arts, research, learning and creative exchange. The day came alive with the ribbon cutting, academy tour, lamp lighting, photography exhibition, felicitation of guests, inspiring addresses and recognition of participating photographers. We were honoured by the presence of distinguished guests including Dr. Keshav Agrawal, Dr. Ashok Agrawal, Dr. Umesh Gautam, Smt. Saumya Pandey, IPS, and Abhimanyu Jindal, along with artists, photographers, educators and members of the creative fraternity. At the heart of this initiative is a special tribute to Shri O. P. Sharma, veteran photographer and mentor, whose association with Triveni Kala Sangam for over 40 years reflects a lifetime dedicated to photography and the arts. As photography marks nearly 200 years of capturing history, culture and human expression, this new Faculty aspires to become a destination where the world can come to research, explore, document and experience INDIA through art and the photographic image. A legacy to honour. A future to create. An India waiting to be explored.
