Indian Institute of Photography adds one more feather to its cap by winning Dialogue India Magazine's Editor Choice Education Excellency Award for its innovation in Photography Education. The coveted award was conferred by Lt. Gen. K.M. Seth, Ex. Governor, Chattisgarh, Tripura, and was jointly received by the Director Trio of IIP - Shri Rajesh Goyal, Shri Shailesh Goyal and Shri Akash Gupta.

This prestigious award from Dialogue India Magazine showcases and promotes every year those innovative educational institutions that are having a transformative and innovative impact on both society and education patterns. These institutions have been recognized from a wide variety of educational sectors and locations, representing a trendsetting resource of expertise and sound educational practices.

Indian Institute of Photography was selected for this coveted award by the Editor-in-chief of Dialogue India on the basis of Innovative Idea and Excellence in photography education.

The award ceremony was witnessed by a large number of academicians including Vice Chancellors, Directors, Deans and Educationists. The awards were presented to a few selected educational entities which have created a niche for themselves in various areas covering leadership, infrastructure, academic excellence and innovations.

Indian Institute of Photography pioneered the online photography learning program to those who are unable to opt for regular sessions due to distance, professional, social and personal commitments. The online program is of great importance for aspirants who have odd working hours and can't make it to the classroom sessions or who live in other countries, states or cities.

Along with regular courses, IIP's Online Courses are open all round the year and students can enroll themselves at any time. Each student will be given a certain period of time to complete his/her course along with some grace period in exceptional cases.

Be it achieving excellence in photography education or fulfilling its social responsibility, the managing body of IIP is always a step ahead in both domains. As part of its humanitarian mission to promote ethical social change and foster a universal sense of social responsibility, The Institute has taken a giant leap in the walk of philanthropy to fulfill its corporate social responsibility by joining hands with Smile Foundation to empower underprivileged children by providing innovative and market-focused photography training.

While sharing his happiness and vision after receiving this coveted award, Mr. Rajesh Goyal, Founder Director, IIP said, " On the innovation front, going beyond the traditional way of photography teaching, Indian Institute of Photography was the First Institute in Asia to introduce Online Mode of Photography Courses, making the learning of this art easily accessible for the photography enthusiasts world-wide while offering the advantages of opting for intensive online programs depending on students' location and convenience.

The Institute's meticulous courses, structured curriculum and professional guidance at every step profusely enrich students' journey into the world of photography and has completely changed the way people have been learning and teaching photography. We, at IIP, still have miles to go in search of new horizons in the field of photography because in India, it is still a subject that has not been explored comprehensively. We thank you Dialogue India for recognizing our innovatory efforts.''
